I don’t usually talk about Indonesian celebrities, but I think I want to say something about Ahmad and Maia who are getting divorced.

The divorce itself is up to them, it’s their marriage and their life. But I feel sorry for Maia who has been “attacked” by the abusive language of her husband. I don’t know if her silence is to gain public sympathy or not, but what I know is Ahmad’s snob level has reached a new high.

I don’t understand what he is thinking. By saying stuff about his wife and degrading her in the public, it clearly shows that he has lost control over his head. Getting emotional over marriage problems is acceptable, but it shouldn’t make you to continuously say stupid (or insulting) remarks about your spouse.

He should know better that talking bad things about your wife is actually talking about your own weaknesses as a husband. Especially when he keeps saying that he is the family leader. To me, Ahmad is an impotent leader.

I personally don’t like Ahmad. He’s a snob and this seems embedded well in his character.

In term of marketing, Ahmad in my opinion, is preparing his own end. Many women I talked seem to dislike his attitude toward Maia, and he may also losing his male fans. This could harm his future album sales. I feel sorry to the rest of the Dewa members. Their livelihood may be affected by this.
